1. MittensMittens, both the name of this app and of the cat which the game revolves around, is the latest entertaining physics puzzler from Disney. The company had an extreme amount of success with Where’s My Water a couple of years ago and this is definitely a notable follow-up.

This Game is compatible with all Devices.The application support GameCenter feature for achievements and leaderboards.

In this game you should help Mittens the cat travel the world to collect milk, balloons, and other gifts to give to Mia, the girl cat he’s in love with you. Collecting these gifts is no easy feat for Mittens; he must fly through the air, slide across buildings, swing on trapezes, and avoid enemies all while also trying to get 3 diamonds along the way.

Some of the interactions you’ll encounter in Mittens is cutting boards, dropping from birds, flinging off power lines, swinging off ropes, bouncing off pirate bellies, and timing everything just right to complete the levels, collect all the diamonds, and not get attacked by enemies.

As one would expect from a Disney game, the visual assets are top-notch. The cartoony visuals and cute cut scenes definitely feel like something Disney would have a hand in. Players interact with the level components by tapping and swiping, and swiping an electrical wire or piece of wood will cut it. Players can only interact with the level components and can’t directly control Mittens. All of the normal laws of physics apply, so Mittens falls and bounces, and will automatically grab onto ledges.

Besides static environmental elements like wires, awnings, and planks of wood, other animals also appear in the levels, like birds to latch onto. Ultimately, the goal is to make it to a floating milk bottle. When he finally gets to it, Mittens does a little dance.

Besides just figuring out how to make it to the end of a level without falling off the screen, enemies like angry men with pans appear and will smack Mittens. The levels are well-designed and there’s enough variety to keep things interesting.

Mittens requires precise timing and quick reactions, and considering there isn’t a time limit, I was surprised by how fast the game forces players to think on their feet. A lot of times there’s only a second to react and decide whether to cut something or not.

There are four level packs and each one has a unique environment. The first is an urban setting, the second is a carnival, the third is a cave, and the fourth is a harbor. Players will also need to collect floating diamonds throughout to make further progress.

Mittens is a worthy follow-up from Disney and any fans of its previous iOS games will enjoy this one, too. The artwork is delightful and the various level designs keep things interesting.

2. Stay Alight!It’s gorgeous, for starters, with a gloriously off-kilter visual style. More importantly, though, it’s a game that takes the familiar projectile-tossing template and attempts to give it a twist all of its own.

Despite the lack of information about several elements of the game, Stay Alight! is pretty fun, with good-looking graphics, good audio, and realistic physics. With a little more info about the story and description of game elements, this could be very good game.

Levelling up earns you coins so there are lots of chances to earn more coins and get that little bit further.

4. Cut the Rope: Time TravelZeptoLab has released the latest version of its bestselling Cut the Rope series of games. The adorable little candy-loving Om Nom has made his debut into another game, Cut the Rope: Time Travel. There are several new mechanics, involving metal chains that can only be cut using blades, ability to pause time and freeze candy and other objects mid-air, bombs that explode when you drop candy on them and the resultant explosion can then be used to propel the candy to a desired point, flying candy that floats around and follows the motion of the other, regular candy and a large clock that can be used to move some of the objects on the screen around.

Developer Zeptolab notes that this new Cut the Rope supports tablets with an advertisement covering the button that moves you on to the next level. And we’ve seen it block things on 720p displays when you unlock a new level, too. And speaking of ads, 99 cents gets rid of ‘em. Or you can just keep with the free version.

Cut the Rope: Time Travel is a good third installment in a series of very enjoyable games. The new game brings with it some new gameplay mechanics but maintains some of the best parts from the older games.

5. Fish Out Of Water!New from Halfbrick Studios, creator of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, comes Fish Out of Water!, an arcade game that’s one part fish tossing, and, well, another part fish tossing, too! Pick up a scaly friend and give ‘em a throw, sending each one across the ocean to see how far you can go. Get an impressive distance score and skip off the surface of the water as many times as you can and you might just impress the crabby judges at the end. Seriously, the judges are crabs.

Swimming near the shore are your collection of fish (and a couple of mammals). Tap and drag one out of the water, then swipe your finger across the screen to throw. While airborne you can unleash a temporary boost to move a little faster, but inevitably you’ll come back down to the sea, skipping across the surface before ending your run. Each fish behaves differently in the air and on the water, so depending on your current mission (and weather conditions) you’ll need to pick the right fish for the job. After three throws you’ll be scored by a panel of distinguished crab judges, each with his or her own criteria. Skippy Steve, for example, is most impressed by a high number of skips.

Fish Out of Water! utilizes a very simple leveling and power-up system that’s focused on completing simple missions and gathering and combining gems to create charms. It’s as simple as tapping two different crystals and checking out the results, and the power-ups do basic things like add to your score or influence how a judge will rank you. Not much to it, but it adds a little incentive to keep throwing fish until the wee hours of the morning.

Unfortunately, Fish Out of Water! doesn’t impress nearly as much as Halfbrick’s previous offerings. The graphics are cute and the gameplay is easy to pick up, but it’s missing that hook that grabs you and keeps you coming back for more. Still, it’s an entertaining game worth its weight in replay value, especially when you’re determined to impress that crabby crab of a judge Harwood.

Laudably unique and pleasing in short bursts, Fish Out of Water! falls short of warranting long-term attachment.

6. Bookworm HeroesPopCap is bringing its popular browser-based word game to smartphone. The game puts a nice spin on the familiar Scrabble-derived formula. In this case, you have a playfield of tiles, which refill from the top as you eliminate tiles by creating words of adjacent letter tiles. It’s not rocket science from a game design perspective, but this easy and addictive casual experience should be a winner on any platform.

Bookworm Heroes allows players to compete in head-to-head battles as they form the best words possible from randomized letter tiles. Whether they’re competing against a random opponent or their close friends, each game sees players forming words using any of the letters on the screen, whether they touch or not. The longer the word, the more damage it will do to your opponent, and vice versa.

At the beginning of each battle, players choose from a variety of heroes, each of which costs coins to purchase and has its own individual stats. The game’s mascot worm Lex, for instance, comes with Apple tiles that replenish players’ health, while a “cyberpunk” character allows players to steal letters from their opponent’s boards in order to create truly massive words. It’s a free download, but PopCap does sell coins to unlock various in-game items.

7. BADLANDBADLAND is an atmospheric side-scrolling action adventure located in a gorgeous forest full of various inhabitants, trees and flowers. Although the forest looks like it’s from some beautiful fairytale, there seems to be something terribly wrong. The player controls one of the forest’s inhabitants to discover what’s going on. Through his journey he discovers astonishing amount of imaginative traps and obstacles.

BADLAND takes side-scrollers to the next level with its innovative physics based gameplay combined with the extremely beautiful atmospheric graphics and audio.

BADLAND has been designed specifically for smartphones and uses one-touch controls to give the player the best possible control mechanics. The result is an highly immersive, addicting gaming experience.

The point of the game is to get this black fluff ball character through levels as quickly as possible. It only requires one finger to play and you tap/hold on the screen to move the character. It’s the same concept as Jetpack Joyride but a lot slower and very different graphics. As you advance through the levels it of course like any game, becomes tougher and tougher. You come across more challenging obstacles and have to think quick if you don’t want to be left behind.

It’s got over 40 different levels and the developers are promising to bring a whole ton more. There is a multiplayer mode which lets up to 4 players play on the same device. A feature I like most is the iCloud support which syncs progress between devices.

Silhouetted stages make it easy to keep track of what’s coming up; lets you focus on solving puzzles before they arrive, keeping the flow of play smooth.

Elegant one-touch controls; gameplay given depth by various power-ups and their combination with the complex world and its machinery.

8. Mr. CrabJoin Mr. Crab on his greatest adventure! The premise of the game is simple but still strangely addicting.

Mr. Crab is an upwardly-mobile platformer. The titular hero click-clacks a circle around a series of colorful towers, collecting baby crabs on his way to the top. If he hits a wall, he changes direction. If he hits a walrus he’ll drop down a level. If he jumps on a walrus’ head, it would die.The only thing Mr. Crab needs from you is a boost. Touch the screen to jump. That’s it.

It’s not nearly as easy as it seems. The cylindrical levels are constantly turning as Mr. Crab moves, making judging tight jumps tricky business. Motion sickness sufferes might need to sit this one out, as the ever-spiraling shape will make them go insane.

Once you start playing Mr. Crab it’s very hard to stop. There’s always one more level, and then there’s a boss fight, and well, that’s done, might-as-well see what the next level looks like. Yeah, it’s one of those. There is a final level, and you might just sit there until you reach it.

Slick presentation; great use of depth of field on newer devices to keep players focused on the action.

Elegant pick up and play style; short, tightly designed levels and an easy to learn one-touch control system.

Visual changes don’t amount to needing to learn new tactics; once you’ve played the first few levels you’ve seen most of what’s on offer – repetitious content.

Mr. Crab is nothing more or less than a competent, lighthearted, and gorgeously presented platformer you can tackle in bite-sized snacks. It does settle in to a rut early on, but you might not care if you’re having enough fun.

What else would you want from a dungeon crawler? Well, plenty of loot, and Dungeon Hunter 4 has it in spades, from magical rings to helmets, chest pieces, and bracers. Each one has been lovingly crafted, and so have the enemies they fall from. There’s much more variety in their behaviors, too, and each one will require you to think carefully about how to avoid the next deadly assault while planning how best to deliver your own.

Slicker and meatier than its predecessors, Dungeon Hunter 4 may not completely break the mold when it comes to innovating within the genre, but it is a solid action-RPG that will please existing fans of the franchise. Anti-freemium purists won’t be converted, but they’ll still get a few thrills from the game. Are you brave enough to battle in this new MMORPG?!?

The Clash Trip Racing game app will challenge non-drivers and drivers alike. Clash Trip Racing is an action-arcade bus parking game for Android and iOS devices in which you can show your driving as well as parking skills. So what makes “bus” parking different than say normal car parking? Well as you can probably imagine or know through experience, bus are harder to control and are generally slower. So the levels in Clash Trip Racing reflect that and you need to adjust your playing style for that. Wide turns, maybe reversing a few times to get a good position and being slow and steady are all necessary components for this bus parking game.

Clash Trip Racing is really a nice game which differs from others by stunning graphics and unique soung backgroud. The size of this good parking game is 28.3 MB and is available for free on Google play-store and itunes App Store. On the screen of your device, you’ll see almost all of the controls that are present in real busses: driving wheel, brakes and accelerator pedals with the help of which you’ll control your bus. You follow arrows to locate the flashing green parking place – bus station, where you need to park your vehicle within the limited time. There are different time limits for different levels. Do not meet – and have to start the level again. As you progress the levels become harder with denser moving traffic to navigate through, tighter turns, and multiple objectives. The main interesting thing in this game which I, liked the most, is that you have to park your car in hurry which is very difficult and exciting too.

Clash Trip Racing has 20 levels with different tasks. You can choose one of four busses to play, with different characteristics each. Choose a bus and go, show what kind of driver you are.  And of course, in-game store which gives you an opportunity to upgrade the vehicle that much simplifies the game passing. The upgrades in the store are bought for coins which you collect during game or get for fulfilling different tasks, for eample – delivering passengers from one bus station to another.

Clash Trip Racing fairs decently well. Collision detection is quite good and balanced, I also like how you can run over certain obstacles in Clash Trip Racing like traffic cones. Watch out for obstacles around every beat of the barrier is accompanied by penalty points wins and you loose coins. The actual controlling of the bus is quite comfortable and it does have that “bus” feel which differentiates this as a “bus” parking game. Some levels you might not pass on the first try. Be patient and try gently to lead this huge vehicle, don’t give up! The experience and professional skills will come to you!

Overall, Clash Trip Racing is not your average parking game, so if you think you can park, wait till you try and park a bus. The game is perfect for future drivers and fans of action games with cars and busses.

1. Doodle JumpDoodle Jump is an incredibly easy game to pick up and play with precise tilt controls, plenty of themes, and new costumes and items to keep it interesting.

In Doodle Jump, players have to constantly jump upwards through a sheet of graph paper. Along the way they encounter enemies and obstacles they have to dodge. It’s simple, addictive, and finally very funny.

This fun and addictive platform-jumping game features a cute, hand-scribbled aesthetic and a cleverly integrated leaderboard. Not surprising for such an addictive game, the interface couldn’t be more simple: you keep jumping automatically, and you gently tilt the device to move left and right. As you move higher and higher up an infinitely scrolling, wraparound vertical screen, you jump onto an increasingly challenging arrangement of platforms — including moving blue platforms, crumbling brown platforms, white platforms that disappear after one jump, and platforms with jump-boosting springs and jet packs.

Doodle Jump has already made its name as a simple and addictive game that is incredibly easy to pick up and play, and subsequent updates have added tons of new content to explore. But with this latest update, new items and outfits change the gameplay in new, fun ways, giving you one more reason to revisit one of the most downloaded iOS and Android games available.

2. VectorThe Vector game creators definitely took inspiration from the works of EA – Mirror’s Edge. This can be traced both in design – a minimum of colors in the strict contours surrounding the protagonist of the concrete jungle, and in the animation of movements of the main character – soft and smooth, like a professional Parkour. Another project, which served as a source of ideas for the Nekki studio – terrific runner Canabalt, from which Vector partly borrowed mechanics and controls. In today’s world of copying ideas is not considered to be something out of the ordinary (unfortunately), but the guys from Nekki came to the process of creating the game creatively rethinking both of those games.

You will play as a dark silhouette, gaining rapidly, and this is a good explanation – your shadow follows the “bad character” who wants you dead. Touch the screen and swipe – and you can perform amazing stunts, slide under obstacles and carry dizzying jumping on the roofs of buildings. At each level there is a bonus that you can spend on a study of techniques of parkour.

Fast and well-designed 2D game. Offering simple and at the same time cool gameplay.

3. Subway SurfersThe game Subway Surfers will discuss about a boy who just turned on graffiti and its main purpose are wagons. But each wagon is under the watchful gaze of guards, so often the hero has to run away from them. If he is caught then huge problems won’t be avoided, but also a huge fine. You have to be that kid and try to run away from the guard, chances are pretty big, but there is no way to relax.

In Subway Surfers you will run away on the railroad tracks, so need to beware of trains passing by. Also you have to show your reaction at a high speed, otherwise you’ll be caught. Besides trains you will meet a variety of obstacles, standing train for exanple. Especially impressive will look run on the roofs of moving trains. While running is also necessary to remember about coins and various bonuses that will greatly simplify the game. In some critical situation you won’t get along without bonus items.

Granny Smith – is a great, positive game from Mediocre, known for its hit Sprinkle. In the game you’ll control an old, but funny granny, who jumped up on the rollers and chased a bully who brazenly stole the apples in her garden. Granny is not going to tolerate it, because they have a secret of longevity and beauty.

Now, all fans of racing games have great reason to celebrate. The long-awaited game Real Racing 3 from Electronic Arts appeared at App Store and Google Play.
For more than one month, representatives of EA warmed our interest for their creation, and that’s why it’s a such a welcome and wanted game. But is the game worth all our hopes?

Real Racing 3 sets a new standard for mobile racing games. Trailblazing new features include officially licensed tracks, an expanded 22-car grid, and over 45 meticulously detailed cars from makers like Porsche, Lamborghini, Dodge, Bugatti, and Audi.

Plus, racing with friends gets kicked into another dimension with the reality-bending Time Shifted Multiplayer™ (TSM) technology, new and interesting innovation allowing to compete with your opponent, even if he is offline. AI allows you to duplicate the player’s actions on a given route, allows you to compete with other gamers after they passed their race – there is no need to agree on participation in the same time. In addition, with each update Firemonkeys race will add new game content and features. Needless to say, that the physics and graphics of the game are at the highest level.

But there are still some flaws. In pursuit of realism (or money) Real Racing 3 got not great for racing simulators feature.In this game now there is certain time for car maintenance. With a new PlayStation app, Sony plans to extend the PlayStation 4 console experience to a second-screen. Announced for iOS and Android devices, the app will allow players to enhance their gaming experience by accessing information – such as maps for the PS4 title being played – as well as make purchases for their console on the go and “remotely watch other gamers playing on their devices.”
Now, Sony has gone on record about their second screen initiative, indicating that
A new application from SCE called ‘PlayStation App’ will enable iPhone-, iPad-, and Android-based smartphones and tablets to become second screens. Once installed on these devices, users can, for example, see maps on their second screens when playing an adventure game, purchase PS4 games while away from home and download it directly to the console at home, or remotely watch other gamers playing on their devices.
Specific examples and availability details are not yet available. Sony will presumably have more to say about the second screen functionality in key PS4 titles as the console approaches its late 2013 launch.
Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see and hear more about the PS4 and its feature set as the hype train really starts rolling.

With one week to go before Valentine’s Day, Disney has just launched its latest seasonal take on hydro-centric puzzler Where’s My Water?
Where’s My Valentine? is an update to December’s Christmassy release Where’s My Holiday?, and once again sees Swampy the shower-loving alligator team up with Perry the secret agent Platypus. Disney has decided on making this game something like Angry Birds Seasons, but for Where’s My Water? and Where’s My Perry?.

As ever, you need to re-route water to the sewer-dwelling and double life-leading heroes, by digging out dirt and avoiding obstacles.

The freebie offers 12 Valentine’s-themed levels to get through. Half of them feature Swampy the showering sewer alligator, and the other half follow the exploits of Perry the stranded secret-agent Platypus.
All of these levels include heart-themed gameplay elements, which are hinted at by the “hearty” puns in the levels’ titles.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, Where’s My Valentine? (formerly known as Where’s My Holiday?) is available now in the App Store for free.

To play the Where’s My Water? levels, just tap the heart-shaped box containing Swampy. And to play the Where’s My Perry? levels, just tap the heart-bearing teddy bear containing Perry.
